We are a small home-based business in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The majority of our apples and pears are home grown on what used to be an old organic farm where the only encouragement for the fresh fruit to blossom is provided by Mother Nature herself !  Even our glass is made here in Yorkshire !

We  believe that Mother Nature is the best - that is why all our jars of handmade preserves contain only fresh fruit, sugar, herbs and spices with absolutely NO artificial additives, colours, flavourings or preservatives !

Our 'green' credentials gained a major boost recently when we were runners up in the 'Green Business of the Year' category at the Ackrill Media Yorkshire business awards.  Just goes to show that even small businesses can be leaders in sustainability and ethical trading.
